Ramon Vilaró Giralt (Vic 1945) is a journalist and writer since 1968 and has worked as a correspondent for newspapers Madrid , El correo catalan , Ya and El Correo Español-Pueblo Vasco , in Brussels, where he edited and directed the newsletter INFOREUROPA . For fifteen years, from 1976 to 1989, has been a correspondent for El País ,in Brussels, Washington, DC, and Tokyo. He was open the front page in number one of El País. After 1990 has been delegated in Catalonia for Grupo16 and business daily Cinco Dias (Grupo Prisa), and has columnist in La Vanguardia . His new novel Dòlars blancs (Edicions Cal.ligraf 2023, in Catalan), is a family saga set between Havana and Miami, about money laundering throughout the 20th century, with a noir plot. Dainichi will be adapted as a television series in the near future.
